Here are a few instrument readings on my 1988 non-S Porsche 951. The A-pillar boost gauge has 15 psi at 2 o’clock (major increments of 5 psi). The gauge to the right of the EGT gauge is set to measure fuel pressure. The turbocharger is a K26-8 with a modified -6 housing. To keep the EGT and detonation in check on 87 octane pump gas, I have designed and installed port water injection. It may be of surprise to see how well the OEM intercooler cools the intake air.
