OK, this one has been bugging me all summer: kids (and often adults too) riding bikes and walking on the wrong sides of the road.

In the state of Ohio, and i’m guessing most others, the law says that bikes are to go with traffic and pedestrians go against traffice. This means bikes on the right, sharing the road with motorized vehicles, and pedestrians on the left.  The reason for this is because pedestrians can side-step out of the way of oncoming traffic.

Its simple folks: tell your kids, do it yourself, tell the neighbor kids. Its dangerous any other way. Helmets and all the other safety crap I see kids not wearing doesn’t matter much when the fundamentals of safe riding aren’t followed.
